Allergy Treatment
Allergy occur when your immune system overreacts to an allergen—something that usually is harmless, such as plant pollen, dust mites, molds, insect stings or food. If you have an allergy, your immune system acts as if the allergens were dangerous, releasing chemical called histamine that causes allergy symptoms.
If the allergen is something you breathe in from the air, your reaction will most likely affect your eyes, nose and lungs. If it's something you eat, it may affect your mouth, stomach and intestines. Food allergies also can cause skin rashes or even asthma symptoms. There are many substances, which can cause allergy. Symptoms will vary depending on the type of allergen.
Any child may become allergic, but children from families with a history of allergy are more likely to be allergic. Children may inherit the tendency to become allergic from their parents, but only some of them will develop an active allergic disease. Children’s allergies can show up in different ways such as: skin rushes, asthma, allergic rhinitis and food allergy.
Some causes of allergic symptoms, such as pollen, molds and dust mites, cannot be completely eliminated and are difficult to avoid. Exposure can be reduced, however, and allergy can be successfully treated naturally at our center by acupuncture and homeopathy. We use German homeopathic remedies, which are effective for treating allergy symptoms.
Our treatment can also make you less susceptible to allergens.
